Case overview: Opiel Law was retained by a Texas-based commercial real estate company to serve as its private attorney. The client’s goal was to secure leased space on available land in Pittston, PA, as well as additional objectives such as signage sizing, placement and installation. Opiel Law worked with Pittston Township’s Zoning Officer to bring the matter to a successful resolution, complete with a signed lease.
Nursing Student Completes ARD to Mitigate Personal and Professional Impact of DUI Charge
A nursing student at a university was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI/DWI). Opiel Law worked to understand the timing of important dates (such as sitting for the boards) and arrange for the client’s acceptance into an ARD program, following approval from the District Attorney and Judge. Opiel Law filed for an expungement to mitigate the impact on the client’s professional licensure.
